I’m a Pasadena mommy needing ideas for weekend activities in Pasadena! My daughters are 3 and 5 years old. I feel like the little one is finally big enough to do more things with her sister. Any ideas for us?

I’m looking for a popular Mommy & Me class in Gardena. I’d like one that isn’t too small because I want to meet lots of other parents! Suggestions, pretty please! Thanks in advance, mommas.

The terrible twos are almost over because my daughter’s 3rd birthday is coming up! I’m trying to figure out what we should do for her birthday. I don’t think she remembers her first or second birthdays, so this will probably be the first birthday she remembers. I want to make it a good one! She is obsessed with animals, but I don’t want to do a petting zoo because that seems like such a hassle. Any ideas for an LA area family?

Our kids are far apart in age at 3 and 10. Our oldest is making plans for summer camp, making it a very frequent topic around the house. Now our preschooler wants to go to camp, too. He’s obviously too young for overnight camps, but WDYT? Any local reccs? Part of me is excited about the alone time I’d get if I could sync up their camp schedules.

We’re living in the Crenshaw/Leimert Park area and are looking for some weekend activities for our son! Maybe parks? I feel like we don’t get much time outdoors lately.

I’m looking for a new pediatrician. We live in North Hollywood, but I work in Valley Village and my little ones are also in daycare in Valley Village. It seems like there aren’t many pediatricians in this area. Do I need to go to another part of the city to find good pediatricians or am I just missing something?

My family lives in LA. We’re in the Inglewood part of the city right now. We’re looking for something to do on a weekend with my little one and I thought going to the zoo might be a nice idea! I know there are a few different options in and around the LA area. There’s obviously the LA Zoo, then there is the Santa Barbara Zoo and I believe there is one in San Diego, too? What is the difference between all of them? Is there any reason to make the drive to Santa Barbara or San Diego to go to one of those zoos, or is the LA Zoo just as good?

It’s starting to get warmer and I want to spend some time outside with my little one, but we don’t have a yard. We’re in the Lake Balboa / Reseda area. What are your favorite parks and why? Playgrounds, please!

My son has a ton of energy and I need to get him out of our tiny apartment or he’s going to start bouncing off the walls! Please help me find somewhere outdoors in the Glendale area where he (and I) can let off some steam!

For my twins’ first birthday, their auntie bought them a Thomas the Train set. They ignored it and wouldn’t play with it at all - until a few weeks ago when they became obsessed with it! Now all they talk about are trains. Trains, trains, trains! Where should an LA momma take her train-obsessed kiddos? We live on the edge of Burbank!
