I never did professional baby photos with my oldest, but I’m at almost 36 weeks into my pregnancy and I’ve started thinking about doing newborn photos of my daughter when she’s born. How do they keep the babies calm, though? Has anyone had newborn photos done that they’ve been really happy with? I’m in the West Hollywood area if that helps! Also wondering if you have any suggestions on places to take a family photo with my husband, son, and newborn daughter in a few months! Outdoors would be nice!

Hollywood mommy looking for some libraries to take my little ones to! All the better if they have some activities for kids - I don’t want to be the only one with little ones who don’t know how to use their library voices yet! Thanks in advance, ladies :)

Hi, all! I’m a momma in the Reseda area on a budget and baby furniture, toys… basically everything can be so expensive! Are there any websites you use or places you go to for more affordable baby clothes, furniture, and toys? Would be a plus if they’re nearby, too!

I’m a Palmdale mom and am planning my daughter’s 4th birthday! Any places in the area you’ve had birthday parties at? I want something fun and easy to invite some of her daycare friends to! Also, any tips on how to do invites nowadays? Do I just send her to daycare with invites for the other kids or do I make a Facebook event?

My son is almost two and a half and we’ve never cut his hair before! He has these beautiful curls and I’ve never been able to bring myself to take him to have it trimmed. It’s gotten really long though, and so I’ve decided it’s time for his first haircut! Do I take him to the woman who cuts my hair or is there something more child-friendly? I’m a West Hollywood mom and I’m wondering how young is too young to take kiddos to museums? I want to avoid another one of those nightmare outings haha. I have a 6 year-old daughter and a 3 year-old son. I’m not worried about my daughter, but my son sometimes has tantrums in public. Are there any good museums to take kids to in LA?

Summer is almost here and I have some questions. First, when is the best time to teach a child to swim? My daughters are 2 and 5. Is the little one big enough yet for learning? Second, we don’t have a pool, but we’ll be by water this summer when we go on vacation, so I want them to learn. Has anyone taken their kids to any swim schools near the Hollywood area, and any recommendations or advice?

My son’s first tooth just started coming in and now I’m starting to look for pediatric dentists for him! I’m worried, though. He always acts up when I take him to see his pediatrician. He really doesn’t seem to like doctor’s offices, and that makes me think he’ll be anxious going to the dentist, too! Have any of you found any super kid-friendly pediatric dentists? We’re in the Palmdale area.
