Any ideas to help toddlers with their social skills? My son is an only child and we don’t send him to daycare or preschool yet. I love that I get to be home with him, but I worry about him being too shy and scared to make friends when he does start school.

Any tips on how to make mornings with little ones less stressful? I just returned to work last month after being a stay-at-home mom for three years, so our 3-year-old started daycare. The shift has been tough on all of us. He’s having tantrums, a hard time with wake-ups, issues with eating his breakfast, you name it.

When I heard other parents complaining about the terrible twos, I thought our toddler was just a sweet exception to the rule. Now that she’s nearing two and a half, I finally get it. We are in a LOUD, public tantrum phase. ISO the best soothing methods, stat.

Has anyone had any amazing children’s birthday parties in the Long Beach area? We didn’t throw a party for my son’s first birthday, and for his second birthday we had a little party at our home, but it was too stressful having it at home. This year I want to have it somewhere.
