Any suggestions for Christmas story times or family friendly community events in the Culver City area?

If you haven't already, we highly suggest checking out the Star Eco Station in Culver City! They have tons of fish and eco creatures for your kids to learn about. We have started using this as an incentive to get our kids to read and do more academic activities. We pick an animal and find books and stories to read before we go to the eco station this way they feel like the experts when we go. This has been great to help us work on learning activities with them, we highly suggest! 0 LikesLeila posted November 18, 2019
No matter what part of town you are in public libraries usually have a certain day and time where they host storytime. Since we moved to the west side we started going to the Culver City Julian Dixon Library. They even have storytime for babies and toddlers! We highly suggest going and getting involved with your child while you are there. As you watch your kids interact with others you can get a better idea of what you can focus on at home as well as what their interstss are. As you may know the best way to teach your kids is to find out what they are into and target these areas. The public library has been great for this! Sometimes we walk down random isles and pick out intersting books to look at. You can practice counting, colors, and storytelling just by walking around or reserving a private room for you and your little ones after storytime! 0 Likes
