I have been caring for children of all ages since I was a teenager. I started out caring for my younger brother, who is 10 years younger than me. I spent much more time changing diapers than the average kid! I babysat him when he was young.

I have also worked as a youth coach for 12 years, starting out volunteering, then as a part time job in high school and college, and then as a full time job for 3 years. I have worked with youth of all ages and countless personalities, and have always been well-loved by the kids and the parents! I also worked as a summer camp counselor and staff member for 6 summers.

In addition to all my experience, I studied Youth Development Studies at Clemson University in college. I absolutely loved this area of study, and it gave me a wonderful background of research and information on which to lean on when I work with youth now.
