Kinzlee M.
Babysitter in Charleston, SC
Thank you for taking the time to review my application! I have been in medical school at MUSC for the past 3 years, but am currently on leave for 2022 to explore other opportunities, and am extremely open to discovering a new path working with children. I had my sights set on obtaining my M.D. to become a pediatrician, but COVID-19 (along with all its other impacts!) unearthed many more drawbacks of being a physician. I want to play a more active, hands-on role in the lives of children throughout their development and build meaningful relationships with families over time-- not just during difficult times of ill health, but also in ordinary day-to-day activities, celebrations, and challenges. I have tons of experience nannying throughout the past 12 years, including as the sole caregiver for 2 children (2 y.o. and 7 y.o.) over a number of weeks while parents were on vacation. I have also taken care of many newborn babies, children teething/ potty training/ etc., bickering siblings, and am the BEST nanny ever :D I am very outgoing and love kids of all ages. I have never come across any issue too big to tackle! In addition to general child care, I have loads of experience tutoring and would love to incorporate academic enrichment as part of my time with children, be it homework help at any level or fun science projects out in nature. I hope you will consider me for the position, and thank you again for viewing my application!
