My name is Christie, I am 22 years old and have been taking care of children pretty much all my life. I am well versed in child development and currently getting a certificate in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavior Therapy. This is a type of therapy specific to children who have experienced something traumatic. My mom is a licensed DCF daycare provider. Once the kids moved on from the daycare the parents would stay in touch and ask me to babysit. I also worked in a daycare as a teacher's assistant when I moved away from home. I am starting an unpaid internship in May and it is 5 days a week 8-4 pm. My availability is after 4 pm and on weekends. The background check has not been completed because money is currently going to bills and groceries. I have a level 2 background check already completed due to internships and my mom's daycare requirements. Thank you for understanding :).
