As someone who's only 5 cousins are under the age of 11, I've grown up learning how to take care of children at all stages of their development. Taking care of my cousins has taught me how to handle the difficulties and joys that come with childhood. I cherish the imagination and creativity of children and factor in creative endeavors to my time with them. As a Certified Nursing Assistant who holds First Aid and BLS certifications, I also understand the importance of safety and awareness while watching children.
