Best nursing chairs?

I’m about to have my second child, and I want to get a nursing chair for our home! We didn’t have one when I was nursing my oldest, and we can finally afford one this time around. What are the best nursing chairs out there? Any specific details I should look for while shopping for a breastfeeding chair?

My sister bought a beautiful one (it was really expensive too) but it wasn’t comfortable at all, so she ended up never using it. Comfort is everything because you are going to be spending so much time sitting in it!

There are a bunch of different kinds of breastfeeding/nursing chairs, so you should figure out which kind you want first, and then shop for that kind specifically. They have rocking chairs, gliders, and stationary chairs. I prefer a gliding nursing chair, but if you have a toddler walking around, they can sometimes be a little dangerous because their fingers can get stuck. Definitely something to beware of.

The gluder really didn't work for me, I ended up using the couch or bed which worked great.

Never had a nursing chair, but i did invest in a great nursing pillow.

I used a stationary chair with matching footrest - I'm on the shorter side and elevating my feet took a lot of pressure off my back. The chair also had padded armrests which really added extra support!
