I have been a nanny for about three years now to a lovely family with a now 6yo girl and 9yo boy. Last year in September I took on an additional family in the mornings with an amazing 2 1/2yo girl. I absolutely love what I do, I don’t see childcare as just supervising a child playing, but as daily opportunities to make learning fun and also help the family as a whole. I am always eager to find opportunities to go outside, explore new places, bake, craft, make music, etc; giving them chances to “try everything” is the greatest way to help a child develop. I also have experience as a preschool teacher and in the social work field as a clinical counselor and ABA therapist for children on the autism spectrum and with other mental health illnesses.
