Lisa E.

Hi, my name is Lisa. I’m a young 55 year old. My own children are 27 and 25 years old. I am an empty nester. I also have three bonus children that are all grown as well. I'm lucky enough to have three grandchildren; twin 13 year old granddaughters and an adorable 4 year old grandson. I live in Uxbridge Ma. with my husband, Mark. We have known each other since we were 12, but have only been married for four years.

I have been helping people raise their children for over 20 years. In fact, my first two littles were newborn twins, (not my granddaughters). I ran a home daycare for almost 14 years and cared for 8 children at one time. They ranged in age from 2.5 months to 12 years old.

When my own baby graduated from high school, spring of 2013, I decided to venture out of the house. I wanted to help another family raise their children. I was with that family for over 6 years. Besides the daily caring for the children I also managed the house. I did all the food shopping, errands, and day to day upkeep of all household duties. When I left, the children were all preteens. My job was complete. It was time to find a new young family to help.

I moved on with a new family that I absolutely fell in love with. I jumped at the opportunity to help this family transition from a family of three to a new family of four. I was hired to help them navigate through the Covid world with children at home. Now that Covid seems to be in the rearview mirror they have decided to move in a different direction with care for their children. As with all of my past families, I will continue to stay in touch with them.

I am currently looking for a new family to help starting In September. I absolutely love children. I love my days that are filled with little hugs, messy faces and sloppy kisses. Being a nanny is not a job for me, it’s a lifestyle. It’s what completes me. I’m a mother first, a wife second and then a nanny. We become family. Our families intertwine. Even though I may have a set schedule at your house, I’m always on call. If there was ever an emergency, I would do my best to help in any way possible.

I have had the privilege of helping countless wonderful families in the past. I love what I do and I believe it shows in the love I bring to the families I help. I would be very interested to have the opportunity to talk to you about your expectations of what you would like in a caregiver. I look forward to speaking with you.
