I have been a babysitter since I was 12. Around 10 years I’ve been doing it and while I was younger I knew working with kids was something that I wanted to do, but also helping people was a big deal for me too. So making sure the parents know their babies are with someone safe and who is willing to help with anything they need. Ive worked at a high school with special needs kids for over 4 years and while I was doing that as well I worked at a preschool/daycare with all different ages. Also had another job being a lead teacher at another preschool having 4-5 toddlers which I had to teach them about certain things by basically creating activities for them to do.
