As I worked with the Boys and Girls Club I've realized how much I am capable of connecting with children. I am a good listener and children always seek for someone to understand their feelings. I understand that children are small human going through a human experience. We are their guidance. I don't have children myself, but being around children shows me a different perspective of life compare to when we are adults with adulting responsibilities. I am not their parents, but I am mentor.
