Since I was a child I knew that I was supposed to work with children. My Dad worked with troubled youth and had such a passion in doing so. I wanted to fo the same. He passed away in April 2005. I became an Early childhood teacher in 2005 at 20 years old. I struggled attending school and work. Both my parents passed away during this time so I had no choice but to be independent. I received my A.A. degree in Early Childhood Education from Folsom Lake College in 2012. I also attended CSU Sacramento for 2 years. I continued working at my last employer for 16 years. It became a home and gave me a family. I have a huge passion inside to build confidence, resilience, and ambition in young developing minds. I know my purpose has to do with helping children. I have a 5 year old son that I prayed so hard for. I'm incredibly lucky that he chose be to be his Mama. I would want someone like myself to care for and love on my child if I needed help. I'm recently unemployed and looking for something that will allow me to be a mother that can provide, but to also pursue my heart in helping children in their development.
