Welcome to Petite Smiles INC! We provide a loving, nurturing, and home-like environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to learn and grow.
Our program focuses on the whole child, supporting social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and behavioral development through Montessori-inspired, faith-based, project-based, and developmentally appropriate play-based learning experiences.
We believe children learn best when they are given opportunities to explore, create, move, ask questions, and develop age-appropriate independence while knowing that caring adults are nearby to provide comfort, guidance, and encouragement.
Our daily experiences include hands-on learning, creative and sensory play, outdoor exploration, early academic skills, social-emotional learning, and activities designed around each child’s developmental stage.
We also provide a culturally diverse and bilingual English-Spanish environment, naturally incorporating Spanish through daily conversations, songs, activities, and routines.
We value strong communication and partnership with our families and understand that every child is unique. Our goal is to create a place where children are excited to come each day and parents can feel confident knowing their child is loved, learning, and growing.

Teachers
Hi! I’m Yubelkis, and I have more than 7 years of experience caring for and teaching young children. Early childhood education is something I truly enjoy because I believe the experiences children have during their first years create an important foundation for their future.
My background includes Early Childhood Education, and I am also CPR and First Aid certified. Over the years, I have worked with children at different ages and developmental stages, which has taught me the importance of getting to know each child individually rather than expecting every child to learn, communicate, or develop in the same way.
As a teacher, I am loving and nurturing, but I also believe in encouraging age-appropriate independence, curiosity, communication, creativity, and confidence. I enjoy creating hands-on activities and giving children opportunities to explore, make choices, solve problems, play, and discover new things while knowing they have a safe and supportive adult nearby.
Communication with parents is also very important to me. I want families to feel comfortable talking with me about their child’s routines, development, accomplishments, and challenges so that we can work together to provide consistent support.
More than anything, I want the children I teach to remember their early years as a time when they felt safe, loved, encouraged, and excited to learn. ❤️

Petite Smiles INC is a welcoming home daycare located in San Leandro, designed to provide children with a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment where they can learn, play, explore, and feel at home.
Our space includes dedicated areas for learning, reading, art and creative activities, rest and naps, and age-appropriate play, allowing children to enjoy different experiences throughout their day. We also have a backyard where children can enjoy outdoor play, movement, exploration, and fresh air in a supervised environment.
Our daycare is located in a quiet, family-oriented neighborhood near a local park and with convenient access to major freeways. For easier drop-off and pick-up, families also have access to driveway parking.
We intentionally maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly environment that combines the warmth of a home with spaces created to encourage curiosity, creativity, independence, and development.
Our goal is for children to feel comfortable and secure from the moment they arrive and for parents to feel confident that their little ones are spending their day in a loving and thoughtfully prepared environment.
