My name is Valyn Long, I bring over eight years of hands-on experience caring for young children, beginning within my own family. As the oldest sibling by 10+ years, I played a significant caregiving role for my four younger siblings, especially during a two-year period when my father was deployed and my mother was working. During that time, I helped manage daily routines, prepared meals, and supported their emotional and developmental needs. These early responsibilities have greatly shaped my patience, attentiveness, and ability to care for multiple children at once, and they instilled in me a deep sense of compassion and responsibility.
I am also CPR certified through the American Red Cross, which has strengthened my ability to ensure children’s safety and respond calmly in emergency situations.
