Im good with kids and know how to work with them. My mom was basically a single parent when it came to our dad so I was the one who helped her raise my younger siblings. I was about 4 years old when I changed my first diaper and made my first bottle, im the oldest. The whole time they were babies I was right by my moms side. She showed me the ropes with my little brother but when my sister was born i had now already been pretty advanced when it came to infants i was doin a lot for her by myself without my mom. When they got older I helped them with homework and basic kid needs. Helped them learn to read and write. Anything my mom needed help with. Im also currently a full time baby sitter to a now 5-6 month old. Ive been watching her day and most times over night since she was 4 weeks old. Ive been a huge part of her development. Ive taught her to sit up, i started her on her solids like rice cereal and purée, ive taught her to roll over and scoot, everyday I find a way to work with her sensory in some way. We’re now working to get in crawl possession. Ive never had any problems with any kids around me chocking. I know my safety precautions but I had my cpr certificate for adults, children, and babies due to the fact I graduated from dental trade school. It does need renewed but I do have the learning experience. Im also a very picky eater so I get along wit other little picky eaters for those nights they just want to make mac ’n cheese for dinner. I like to clean so any house chores I can help you with. But I am NOT comfortable going through peoples things so anything that you think i may need while im there like specific dinner or specific cleaning supplies I ask that you could please leave them out or easy for me to see/find. I love dogs (big or small) and cats. I’ll walk the dog if needed. Bigger birds like parrots scare me a little bit but little birds are okay if the cage needed cleaned or something. Ive also worked with a disabled person before. I tube fed him, showered him and changed him while I was there. So I have some experience with disability too.
