I have been babysitting since I was a teenager and now, many years later (ha!), my three children are all in school. I stayed home with all of them and have watched other children in addition to my own and am very comfortable with managing lots of little personalities!
As a parent myself, I understand the need to feel comfortable with a regular and reliable sitter who takes initiative and manages the household duties (cooking/dishes/etc) in addition to making kids feel safe, secure and having fun!
