Emma D.
Babysitter in Provo, UT
While I have limited experience with babysitting, I am a natural caregiver. I never had the opportunity to babysit in highschool, as there weren’t many families in need where I’m from. However, in school, I was a mentor to 7th and 8th graders for two years. I loved offering advice, organizing activities, and watching out for my advisees. I also often went on overnight trips with them, and served as another chaperone for the 12 kids. Additionally, my mother was a preschool aid for children with behavioral issues, on the spectrum, or other challenges. I often helped out in her classroom, offering my assistance to help her classroom run smoothly. In highschool I did multiple research projects on elementary and secondary education in conjunction with theatre, as this is my desired career path. Currently, I am a sophomore at BYU. I plan to graduate in 2025 and then get my teaching certification in Massachusetts. I work at Chic-Fil-A, and so I also have a food handling permit, and would be more than happy to cook for your family. I am willing to get certified in CPR training or additional trainings needed. I have my license but only have partial access to a car shared with my partner. Additionally, I can handle allergies well as my younger sister has a treenut allergy. I look forward to working with you!
