I have been working with infants and toddlers for several years now, growing up I helped out a lot with my baby cousins. When I was 16 I began working as a babysitter for a few different families, and around the age of 18 is when I began to get more into special education. I now work at the Children’s Center in Augusta as a BHP and childcare assistant teacher. I absolutely love children and being a part of their developmental process. Teaching and taking care of children has became one of my favorite things to do and it is incredibly rewarding when you watch it pay off. I have my BHP certification, swing training certification, and safety care training certification, in addition to those listed prior. I have the most experience with infants and toddlers, however I have also worked with school aged children at an after school program in Wayne which I did for 2.5 years. The children I worked with there were 5-12 years old. I would be more than happy to get to know your family more and potentially help you out in anyway I can!
