Hello,
My name is Catherine Cuthbertson. I am one of seven children. My father was a teacher and High school principal for over 40 years. My mother was a teacher. I am a mother of four children. While my children were young, I owned a home-based business that supplied Physical, Speech and Occupational therapy to injured US Veterans. I have been an early learning educator for many years. I have cared for children of all ages. I enjoy art, cooking, music, kayaking, history and genealogy and travel. I have a young nephew that has special needs. I understand what it is like to have a child with traumatic brain injury.
I started my official childcare training working with a Child Develpment school in Bamberg Germany under the Department of Defense. I was an American working in Germany. 1991
In 1998-99 I studied and received all my 45 hours of Florida Department of Children and families, necessary to be employed for any schools in Florida. I have all up to date CPR/ BLS certificatiin, and have a Comercail driver's license, as I drove a small bus for children needing before and after care from elementary school.
