I resigned as a Director at a Philadelphia based non-profit in February 2021 for a variety of reasons, but primarily to act as a ‘manny’ for my great niece who was born during the pandemic. Both her father (my nephew and godson) and his wife needed to return to work, and I wanted to help out in any way I could. I offered them my unfettered time through the end of the year, which averaged a day or two a week. I continue to assist, now 1 day a week. I am currently seeking part-time opportunities and would welcome expanding on the manny experiences I've gained over the past 12+ months.
