Rachel (Kellin) C.
I used to work as a recreational leader for the Chicago Park District. This was the summer of 2017 and 2018, During my time there I was a supervision for the kids in the program and I watched them for eight hours for 7-8 weeks of the summer. During my time there had a camper in my group who are used to watch even after camp is over. This happened because mom came to me and asked me if I would be available to watch her daughter for a few more hours even after camp due to her busy schedule. I work with children ages 3 to 6 year olds but personally I have always watched and cared for infants from either family or friends whenever they needed my help.
I have very good communication skills, like fun activities, respect for the children and their families. Bringing creativity to the table is important to me because the way I see it children learn based off what they see and hear and I think it is important for them to have a positive environment as I will be a part.
