Jocelyn M.
I've been in child care since I was 11. I started as a babysitter for my siblings, than at 12 started watching a family friends children. They were 8,6,3, two 2, 1 and two infants. I continued to babysit for friends and family. When I was 19 I started working PRN at Wyoming Medical Centers Next Generation learning center. I worked in all rooms, infant to school age children, until I took a full/ part time position as the lead school age teacher. When the hospital closed the daycare I tried my hand at behavioral therapy, which wasn't for me but I did learn alot about children's behavior and how to help them cope with the strong emotions they feel. I spent 2 yrs as a ones room teacher which I loved!! I than tried my hand at being a nanny to 4 amazing boys, 13,12,10 and 1 years old. I loved being a nanny. I spent most my day with the 1 year old while his brothers where in school, I picked the boys up from school ( in a provided car), helped with meal prep, laundry, household chores, pet care, and shopping. Im. A very laid back but firm childcare provider. My childcare style has been developed from years of education from different jobs and my own personal experiences. Im fun but a no nonsense kind of person. If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to ask.
