Hello, my name is Nikira Dixon and I am currently in college majoring criminology with a minor in Child advocacy. Working with kids, has been always something that’s brought me joy. Growing up the ninth child out of eleven has been nothing but a blessing. I believe in the power of love and kindness. I think the most rewarding part about caring for children is fostering relationships with them and their families. I really cherish the moments where I can help families support a child's growth and become an integral part of their development. Although I’ve babysat and worked with Children for most of my life, I’ve officially babysat for over 7 years as well I’m a current employee at Morristown Beard Day camp as a lead teacher working with ages 3-7 years old, I also take time every Sunday volunteering with children’s church working with ages newborn to 12 years old. Most of my peers as well as colleagues see me as charismatic, patient kind, strong-willed and resourceful all things I’ve been commended on.
