I was honestly a little unsure about what to put under 'years of experience with babysitting' because I have been responsible for looking after my little brothers since I was very young. Because we all grew up without a mother figure, I was in charge of things like making lunch, cleaning up after them, doing laundry, and making sure they were okay while our dad was at work. When I was about 11 years old, my dad decided that I was old enough to babysit them, so I believe it is safe to say I have many years of experience when it comes to childcare. The reason behind putting in one year of experience was that I haven't had an "official" steady babysitting job. I've babysat for others when their babysitters canceled, and I have recently been looking after my 11-month-old niece for a couple of months now while her parents cannot afford a babysitter. I believe I would be a great choice as a babysitter because I am a responsible, caring, and patient person. I am experienced with many different ages, I am attentive, and I believe I would be able to form a connection with your child and be someone they can look forward to seeing when I am needed in the home.
