I’ve always had a love for babysitting. At a young age kids tend to bring nothing but joy into the lives of the people around them. I started teaching Sunday school which eventually turned into a daycare. I would keep the kids during church service instead returning them to their parents after Sunday school. From there I realized how I enjoyed teaching, caring and surprisingly learning from the children around me. At 15 I started to promote myself as a babysitter to friends and family for more experience. Being the eldest of 6 also took a part in my experience as well. I can cook, clean, and help with homework. I’ve worked with babies from the age of 3 months to children that were 15 years old. This went on for about 3 years until I left for college. Working as a babysitter has pushed me to go to school for Pediatric Nursing. I hope to possibly open my own practice one day.
