I've had experience working with kids since high school. I've always wanted to make my own money and be independent, therefore I created my own tutoring "business" back home (Nicaragua), I spend my afternoons working with kids who struggled with their homework, and besides getting school work done, we also had play time to encourage them and keep them engaged. Furthermore, I have an 8 year old niece that I've babysat on various occassions since she was born because her parents work a lot and often needed assistance. (I did everything from diaper changing when she was little, to meal preps later on, and also helped with her homework).
I graduated high school in 2020 with the presidential academic excellence award, and being a part of the National Honor Society. I'm currently a sophomore at the University of Miami with full tuition scholarships, and I'm a part of the honors program here as well. Currently I'm pursuing a double major in communications and international studies, and looking forward to learning new languages (I currently speak English and Spanish).
