I’m a little embarrassed to say it, but my son has learned curse words from my road rage. How do I teach him that they’re bad and not okay to say?

My 3 year old cries whenever I leave her anywhere by herself. What should I do? It makes me feel so bad every time!

How strict should my husband and I be about bedtime for our 5-year-old? He never stays up too late, of course, but we have trouble getting him to bed at a consistent time each night - partly because of my husband’s unpredictable work schedule. Our LO wants to wait up for him. Does this matter?

Looking for wallet-friendly activities for the kiddos in the LA area & willing to drive a bit. We have 3 kids under 5 so outings can be a nightmare and pricey. We have to hide how close we live to Disneyland lol. Looking beyond movies and the basics… ideas?

So recently I have been catching my daughter scribbling on the walls and my couch because she has just discovered "art" at her daycare. I am worried that my house will look like piece of crumbled up paper when she's done with it. I need ideas on activity tables and what she can do on them so that she doesn't use her energy toward our house walls!

I’m a Pasadena mommy needing ideas for weekend activities in Pasadena! My daughters are 3 and 5 years old. I feel like the little one is finally big enough to do more things with her sister. Any ideas for us?

My LO is transitioning from preschool to kindergarten next month. She just turned 5, and I’m concerned that she hasn’t learned how to read yet. Should she be able to read by the time she starts kindergarten? Worried she might have a learning issue or be falling behind.

Our kids are far apart in age at 3 and 10. Our oldest is making plans for summer camp, making it a very frequent topic around the house. Now our preschooler wants to go to camp, too. He’s obviously too young for overnight camps, but WDYT? Any local reccs? Part of me is excited about the alone time I’d get if I could sync up their camp schedules.

At what age do kids usually pick up on writing and spelling out their own names? My stepson seems to have it down but his twin sister, not so much. They are 4.

We’re living in the Crenshaw/Leimert Park area and are looking for some weekend activities for our son! Maybe parks? I feel like we don’t get much time outdoors lately.
