I am newly pregnant and keep reading online about Meconium and how it stains. What is this actually and any tips or tricks?

Haha this is a great question!! I kept stumbling upon this too when I first started reading new mom posts - especially about cloth diapers! This is when the poop changes to the yellow stuff when your milk comes in. It's one of the signs you're transitioning from colostrum to actual milk. So it's super weird, but normal

Fun fact: it doesn't stick well to oils. So if you put olive oil on the baby's bum after each diaper change, it wipes off real easy the next time they poop again
