Places for a picnic in Gardena?

My daughter keeps asking me if we can have a picnic. It’s really cute! Does anyone have any suggestions of places in the Gardena area where we can go to have a nice picnic as a family? Maybe a quiet park or something like that? Shade would be really nice too. Thank you so much! I can’t wait to hear your ideas :)

We did Polliwog Park last summer for a 4th of July picnic and it was perfect! There were lots of spaces for everyone, even on the 4th, which I think is a big deal because so many people go out for picnics for that. You could try Veterans Park too if Polliwog is too far. 0 Likes

If you like the water, Alondra Community Regional park is a really really nice one. You have to keep an eye on your kids though to make sure they don’t go in the water if they’re not good swimmers yet! 0 Likes

I have to agree with Serena on Alondra Park! It's a beautiful park and a great way to spend time with the family. Lots of space for setting up picnics and watching the world go by. There's a lake to go fishing in and you can see the ducks swimming around. You can also bring your bikes if you feel like having an active family day. Plenty of options that the entire family can enjoy! 0 Likes

Mas Fukai Park in Gardena is awesome! The park has a children's playground & family welcoming picnic areas. 0 Likes
