After graduating from UCD in 2018, I went straight into teaching kindergarten and 1st grade at an after-school program in Davis. I grew alongside the children I was teaching and developed into what type of mentor, teacher, and caregiver I envisioned for myself. I found immense value in this program because it allowed children to be autonomous, which helped encourage and build themselves as individual beings, build confidence, and promote self-esteem.
I left the child care facility in 2020 due to Covid-19 to protect my at-risk elder mother. I have been working as a Nanny for a single-family inside their home for the past year. Due to the child going off to a childcare facility for socialization, I am looking for an additional Nanny position. Although I am looking to join a childcare facility once again, I would prefer working with a family to lower my risk of contracting Covid. I will continue to provide a loving and exciting environment for your child(ren) to thrive in.
