My love for kids, teaching and childcare began when I completed my Bachelors degree and obtained the Child Development Associate Certification. This passion to work with parents and children continued to grow following the births of my own children, which provided me many additional treasured opportunities to learn about childhood development. Onward through my journey I shared in co-teaching, leading summer camp for children with development delays, led self-esteem teen girl groups in a local middle school and eventually obtaining my Masters degree in counseling in an effort to open more doors to work with at-risk children.
