I have been a childcare/homecare provider and teacher for over decade. Began as a family caregiver. I am happy to provide: meal preparation, storytime, playtime, nap time, leading arts and crafts, light housekeeping, leading movement and helping with homework. My interest in becoming a childcare provider began when I was 7 years old. Looking after my 2 nieces while they were younger was a strong responsibility that I enjoyed the most. Being able to be apart of their growth pushed me to work with developmental care in schools as a tutor, mentor in my early years and later a teacher aide and art instructor. I previously lended a hand in family homes where I have cared for special needs children with moderate to no mobility and homes with multiple children varying in ages. Caring for my family created a passion and led me to want to do the same for others. With my grades progressing in school, I introduced tutoring as another offering for older children. This led me to want to begin a career in Early Childhood Education. Over a decade of experience and knowledge of social & emotional learning, art, incorporating play in daily life, comprehension, collaboration, and using tools to heal ourselves are the fundamental points to grow independent and loving children who can nuture themselves and recognize nurturing from their environment. Today, I am an art and robotics instructor, with STEAM /Montessori &Waldorf practices. I provide these services through the Chicagoland area along side intentional movement, sound healing and play workshops.
