Program Welcome to Sykes Family Child Care! We offer childcare for families looking to provide their child with a loving and safe environment that’s just like home. At our home daycare, our goal is to help children learn important social, emotional, and behavioral skills that prepare them for a successful and happy future. We focus on a variety of Waldorf Inspired, Project-based, and Developmental Play-based activities to cultivate an environment of learning and curiosity. We offer programs for a wide variety of ages from 0 months to 12 years and potty training. We look forward to hearing from you! Please contact us to schedule a tour for you and your family. I'm passionate about childcare, and I have more than 10 years of experience caring for children.
With my professional experience and certifications in First Aid and CPR, I'm highly accomplished in teaching both educational and intentional play activities designed to develop children's' psychological, emotional, behavioral, and social skills.

At Sykes Family Child Care, our home daycare is designed for play, creativity, and learning! Our daycare has a driveway for parking. Within the space, we have a backyard, a nap room, an art area, and a reading area to create a comfortable environment for all of our activities.
We are located in a quiet Lakewood neighborhood just around the corner from a park, an elementary school, and a middle school. Our family-oriented neighborhood has convenient street parking and accessible freeways.
