Program

Sofia Grace's STEAM Academy is a STEAM centered Computer Science academy. Currently, we are offering preschool for ages 2-5 locally and after school classes for our school age children. We believe in the importance of teaching children the why and how to things and their systems. Learning takes place when curiosity is triggered. Our academy's curriculum is blended for all types of learners. We believe in surpassing milestones, developing passion, confidence, vocabulary and logic.

Teachers

I have been caring for children for more than 20 years. During that time, I decided to continue my education into Computer Science. Upon falling in love with Computer Science, I realized how important it is to help children see they can become developers instead of users of technology. It's also very beneficial in enhancing problem solving skills, confidence and logic. With this I created a hands on, exciting and playful curriculum and learning environment.

At Sofia Grace's STEAM Academy, our home daycare is designed for play, creativity, and learning! Our academy is safely tucked away in a cul-de-sac in a quiet Lawrenceville neighborhood.

In our neighborhood are many parks, libraries and even an aquatic center! We are near several different schools and aren't far from the malls too. Our top priority is creating a supportive community amongst our school staff and the parents who entrust us to educate and care for their child(ren).
