Program
At Young Sprouts Early Learning, we provide a warm, nurturing, and engaging home-based environment where children can feel safe, supported, and excited to learn. Our program is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, encouraging children to explore their interests through hands-on learning, creative activities, books, art, sensory play, and meaningful everyday experiences.
We value small-group care and individualized attention, allowing us to get to know each child’s personality, interests, routines, and developmental needs. We provide age-appropriate learning experiences for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school age children while encouraging independence, confidence, kindness, and curiosity.
Families can expect open communication, a clean and welcoming environment, dependable care, and a provider who genuinely values strong partnerships with parents. We also provide diapers for infants and toddlers, helping make busy mornings a little easier for families. Our goal is for Young Sprouts to feel like a comfortable home away from home where every child is welcomed, cared for, and encouraged to grow.
I am an experienced early childhood educator with a strong educational background in child development and elementary education. I hold an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. Before opening Young Sprouts Early Learning, I worked in an elementary school setting, including experience as a kindergarten resident teacher.
My experience has given me a strong understanding of how children learn and develop at different ages. I believe children learn best when they feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore. I bring my teaching experience into my childcare program through hands-on activities, play based learning, early literacy, creativity, and individualized support. As both an educator and a mother, creating a nurturing environment where children can build confidence, independence, and a love of learning is very important to me.
Location Young Sprouts offers a warm, welcoming home environment thoughtfully arranged with children in mind. Our spaces include dedicated areas for learning, creative play, reading and quiet time, as well as age-appropriate activities for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children. Children have room to explore, play, relax, and learn while still enjoying the comfort and familiarity of a home setting. We maintain a clean, organized, and child friendly environment with safety as a priority. Our goal is to provide a peaceful home away from home where children feel comfortable, secure, and free to be themselves.
