At Our Little Home Childcare, our teaching staff is caring, dependable, and committed to providing children with a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. Our staff members meet Washington State childcare requirements, including background checks and required health and safety training. Staff also complete ongoing professional development and training in areas such as CPR/First Aid, Safe Sleep, child development, and positive guidance.
Our teaching approach is centered on learning through play. We provide age-appropriate activities that support each child’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Children participate in circle time, reading, early math and literacy activities, arts and crafts, music, outdoor play, and other hands-on learning experiences.
We believe every child develops at their own pace. Our staff provides patient, positive guidance while encouraging independence, confidence, kindness, and respect. We work closely with families to create a warm, home-like environment where every child feels welcomed, supported, and valued.
