ive been a personal nanny for several years i absolutley adore children, i dont have any children of my own but i have heled care for and raise many kids trew out my life, i have never ending paitence with children for the simple fact they are kids and they need someone to teach them things threw life to help them both stay safe and how to grow and learn every day task, i am a firm beliver in "gentel parenting" i don't believe in hitting or raising your voice at a child. going far past just basic life skills a child needs to know i also bekieve in teaching them about there emotions and how to understand them, most of the time when a child is having a "tantrum" or "melt down" its because they are having an overwhelm of emotions and they dont know how to deal with it so they express anger... most would get upset with a child where i will come down to there level we will adress the problem and either solve it or explain to the child they they can or cant have/do something if they are still upset i respond i understand how there feeling and they are allowed to have that feeling but regardless we have to continue with our day... its small things like that rather then just getting upset with your child that will help me stand out from your other applicents
