Bethany C.
Babysitter in Greenville, SC
I began to babysit when I was very young and my first child was 6 wks old. He was diagnosed with autism and I watched him until the age of 7 when he was ready to begin school. In 2011, I began to work at a group home for adolescents. As well as an emergency shelter for infants to adolescents. I did that for 6 yrs then I went on to work in a mental and behavioral facility for 3 yrs. I worked with and adolescents for ages of 7-21. I’ve helped raise some of my nieces and nephews. I was able to become a CPR instructor during my years as at the mental and behavioral facility. Then I worked in an all girls residential facility for 4 yrs. This facility were for girls from ages 12–21. They were a mix of homeless, behavioral, and foster girls. I recently was able to obtain my certification to become a Registered Behavioral Technician. I currently work with children who are on the spectrum and teach them daily life skills. I love my job and I am thorough, attentive, knowledgeable, dependable, and grateful in what I do. I treat the children and adolescents I look after as individuals because none are the same. So I take my time to build a solid rapport with my children so I can get an understanding on how to be able to take care of them in every aspect needed. When I look after them it’s more then just a job or babysitting it’s time for bonding and shaping young minds for the betterment of their future. I hope you enjoyed getting to know me a bit and don’t hesitate to ask questions. Look forward to hearing from you!
