Hi ! I am currently a student at the university of louisville pursuing an art degree. I love caring for kids, and it is a big passion of mine. I feel like I have a unique ability to connect with them. I worked for a family with three children ages 4, 8, and 9 in their home. I took care of them after school until nighttime. I played with them, helped them with homework, drove them to the park or their sporting events, and also helped them get ready for bed. I did this for almost 2 years. I worked for the YMCA doing cep for over a year. I took care of the kids before and after school and during the summer all day long. I mainly worked with my class of 10 and had 4-6 year olds. I also occasionally helped out with all ages of grade school as well. We did activities and I did light teaching as well. We played games and I took them outside. For the other year I worked in a nursery as an infant teacher. I had up to 10 babies at a time from 6 weeks old up to 9 months old. I also helped out with the 1 and 2 year olds occasionally. In the infant room we took care of the babies daily needs, took care of the formula or breastmilk, fed them, changed diapers, put them down for naps, played with them and I also occasionally did art with them to give to their parents.
