Hi, I am Gerry. I am mom to an adult son and I have a 5-year-old precious inquisitive granddaughter. I enjoy crafts, gardening and local vintage markets. I have an Associate's Degree in Art. I enjoy reading to the children and watching the awe on their faces as they listen to the start and end of a story. I feel this helps children to broaden their horizons.
Children are so unique in their own way. I love the way their faces light up when they see a puppy, kitty, favorite toy and mom and dad. Their laughter is so contagious you cannot help yourself from laughing with them.
My simple way in caring for children is I listen to what they say and how they feel. Even a small child has an opinion that they want to share and sometimes quite loudly. Your children are just beginning to be aware of their surroundings and you will learn to enjoy and see the simple things through their eyes. You may be amazed at what you have been missing. I am also CPR certified and all my shots are up to date.
I feel I would be a good fit for your family because I would care and love your precious child just as you would. As parents we want the very best care for our child. I would like the opportunity to a part of that .
I am very comfortable with animals and treat them just like part of the family.
Including Care, I have had several years' experience in caring for family, friends and in our church nursery.
I am confident in the care, love and peace of mind I can offer you and your family as you work outside the home. I can help with light cleaning laundry and meal prep.
