I’ve worked with kids almost all my life. It started at my mom’s ‘in-home daycare’ where she would watch the neighbors kids, cousins, friend of the family’s kids & I just started picking up on everything she did. Instead of being “one of the kids”, I had to stand out! U had to help make lunch, I had to help clean up, and after a few years it became my nature. So I started working a in-home Caregiving job , where I cared for a woman who was diagnosed with Scoliosis & Glaucoma & needed serious help. That is where I found my purpose! Now it’s a everyday thing. I’m employed at the Department of Defenses Child and Youth program where I do my daily duties with pride!
