I've been a mother for over 19 years, and have extensive experience taking care of human beings from 0 years old - 75 years old. I was the primary caregiver for both my parents at the end of their life. I volunteered in the children's Sunday school center at church, and volunteered my time at the After school program my son attended for over 5 years, including caring for children, teaching children, feeding children, and participating in art festivals. I have taught elementary students, middle school, and high school. I have a passion to help others in ways I wish I could've had help in times of need. I was a single mom for 8 years before I met my husband. I want to be of help to my new community as I recently moved here from Houston to be near my husband's family and to help care for his grandmother. I would love to help if I can, if just so parents can get a very well deserved break whenever they want or need because parenting is a full time job, and now that my son is an independent adult, I have the time and energy to give back to other parents to help with their children.
