Alice B.
I am a recent graduate of the University of New Hampshire. Although my education is not focused in child-care, I have always had a passion for working with children. I spent the last two years working as a direct support professional for a handicapped teen. My job consisted of assisting him with daily activities in his home (cooking, cleaning, using the bathroom, etc.), as well as educational assistance (reading, completing homework), and community involvement (attending sporting events, social interactions, swimming, etc.).
On a more personal level, I believe I can offer quality care in your home as I feel I am an adaptive and understanding individual. Growing up in a large family with several younger siblings, nieces and nephews has provided me with daily training on how to foster a safe, organized and fun environment in a family home.
