I'm Mel! I'm 26 years old, and I consider myself laidback and easy to talk to. Kids tend to like me because I love cartoons and video games, and they all seem to think I'm cool because I have purple hair. I love to cook for friends and family, and helping others is what I feel like I was born to do. I grew up with my mom not having anyone to help her raise me because my dad was a pilot and wasn't home, so I know how hard it is from a child's perspective to not have the extra help. I don't have any prior experience with helping with kids in a home setting, but I volunteered as a teacher's assistant at my own middle school and elementary school for two years.
