Prior to having children of my own, I taught pre-k for about 3 years. During that time I became CPR certified in infant, child, & adult CPR. I built great and trusting relationships with students and their parents. I volunteered monthly for parents night out where I took care of children from infant up to age 12. Parents, teachers, & students loved me! I took a few years off to have children of my own. They are in school now and I feel like I would love to have more little ones to take care of while my kids are in school. I have taken care of babies, my own nieces and nephews. I also can pick up and drop off other kids or watch them until their parents get off of work. I'm looking for something flexible with my hours but I can be flexible as well. I can teach little ones or provide daily care.. I love kids & helping them grow. I have a clean background, don't smoke or drink. Have no pets in home. Have reliable car with insurance and car seats if need be. And have cellphone on hand to always pickup for peace of mind. I have many references to provide reassurance to any parents or gaurdians. Have several certificates for classes related to early childhood education. Took several early childhood education classes in college. Have my associates degree. Taught prek for 2 years and worked with school age (up to 12 yrs old) children over the summer for summer programs. Have knowledge and skills of teaching and following curriculum. Have taken care of infants up to children age 14.
