I have been taking care of kids, my entire life since I was about 15 years old. I loved to babysit when I got old enough and right away in college I knew I wanted to be a teacher. I started teaching pre-kindergarten for several years, then after a need in my children’s school, I taught first and second grade, which I also loved. I also had opportunities to stay home with my kids while they were young and to homeschool them during the pandemic which I also loved. My professional experience ranges from birth to about 4th grade. While I was homeschooling, I also took care of a four month old baby until he was a year and a half and I absolutely loved it.
