Maddi H.
Hi! My name is Isabella Lewis, but you may call me Bella. I'm 23 years old and currently studying Social Studies Education at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
I started working with children young, babysitting for friends and family at 14 years old. In 2021, I transitioned into professional nannying and had the privilege of working long-term with a wonderful family, caring for their son from when he was only three weeks old. That experience gave me extensive hands-on knowledge in infant care, toddler development, and building a trusting, consistent relationship with both child and family. Watching him grow and reach so many milestones over those years was incredibly rewarding, and it deepened my love for working with babies and toddlers in particular.
Though he's now in school and we no longer have a full-time arrangement, I remain close with the family and continue to babysit for them throughout the year when needed. They are happy and kind enough to provide a strong recommendation on my behalf if needed!
Beyond my nannying experience, my studies in Social Studies Education have given me formal, hands-on experience with children as well, giving me a well-rounded understanding of child development from infancy through the early school years. That said, the baby and toddler years are truly where my heart is — the growth that happens in those early stages is something I find incredibly special.
I am now actively seeking a new nanny position, ideally with infants or toddlers, and I look forward to bringing my experience, warmth, and dedication to a growing family!
Thank you for reading and I hope to meet you and your kiddo!
