Sarah R.
I am a very good, caring nanny. I have cared for babies from newborn through toddler age, keeping them fed, warm, happy and using song, stories, colors and contact to encourage and help them grow. Diapers and daily care are times to interact and encourage laughter. I am very reliable, and very aware of keeping children safe, both inside and outside the house. I can comfortably run a household, prepare meals, order groceries or run errands. One of my goals is to make sure that the precious time you have with your family is quality time, not chore time. I cook from scratch, using healthy ingredients. If your children are old enough to be involved in stirring, mixing and adding frosting or sprinkles, then I will include them in cooking, helping them make snacks and use their abilities to impress their parents. I can get teens and pre-teens to appointments and sports events, help with homework, and create projects for school. As a teacher, I include lessons in everything from bugs to rain. I rarely use TV or video as a babysitter, since the world is so full of wonderful things.
I know CPR and first aid, my driver’s license is current, as is my passport. I use redirection, distraction and encouragement to help children learn manners and rules. I think outdoors is an important part of learning about the world, and I will find playgrounds and parks, beaches and libraries in your area to give them the adventures they deserve.
If I can offer any further information, please let me know. I would welcome the chance to speak with you.
Sincerely,
Eva M. Szoke
